1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Expiry Alert Pro mobile application (the "App") and the official website, created by Rahul Lagariya. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the App.

2. Account Responsibilities

To access certain cloud features (such as multi-device synchronization), you must register an account using a valid email address or sign in via Google OAuth. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information.
  • Keep your password secure and confidential.
  • Accept sole responsibility for all actions and transactions that occur under your account.
  • Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access or security breaches.

3. Acceptable Use

You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Expiry Alert Pro strictly for personal or small business inventory tracking in accordance with these Terms.

Prohibited Actions: You agree not to copy, decompile, reverse engineer, or modify any portion of the Android source code, databases, API keys, or application assets. You may not use the App to log hazardous, illegal, or stolen goods, or feed spam queries to the Gemini AI lookup service.

4. Premium Subscriptions & Billing

We offer a Premium Pro subscription (₹99/month, product ID `premium_monthly`) managed via Google Play Billing. By upgrading to Premium, you agree to the following terms:

  • Billing Cycle: Subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly basis. Payment is charged to your Google Play Account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless turned off in your Google Play account settings at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
  • Cancellations: You can cancel your subscription at any time via the Google Play Store subscription dashboard. Cancellation stops subsequent billing but does not offer pro-rated refunds for current months.
  • Refunds: Refunds are handled exclusively by Google Play Console support policies. We do not process refunds directly.

5. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights associated with Expiry Alert Pro, including but not limited to logo graphics, custom Android Jetpack Compose code, the Expiry Risk Engine code, the website layout, styling, text, and database schemes, are owned by Rahul Lagariya. You do not acquire any ownership rights by downloading or using the App.

6. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Expiry Alert Pro is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. While we strive to maintain high accuracy, we do not warrant that:

  • The risk engine's remaining days calculation will prevent food spoilage under all environmental storage conditions.
  • The Gemini AI and ML Kit barcode scanning search outputs will always be 100% correct.
  • The daily notification system will never experience delays due to system battery saving profiles.

In no event shall Rahul Lagariya or associated entities be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including loss of profits, data, or product spoilage cost) arising out of or related to your use of the App.

7. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and block access to Premium cloud sync features without prior notice if you violate these Terms, engage in fraud, or abuse our Google AI API tokens.

You can terminate these Terms at any time by deleting your account directly in the App settings, which wipes all your local and Firestore-cached product listings.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated Terms on this website and updating the effective date at the top of the page. Your continued use of the App following changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal actions or disputes arising under these Terms must be filed in the courts of appropriate jurisdiction in India.
